The floating object, called 'Big B', by Yubi Kirindongo, which is being placed in the pond at plantation house Blauw, is progressing steadily. The mounting of the piece on floats is an exacting job and its installation on water also requires the necessary deliberation. Probably in November the only floating artwork in Curaçao and the Caribbean will brave the waves and the Kröller-Müller Museum will have a twin brother.
A work of art that is also appreciated for its natural environment: the birds like to perch on it.
