From January 28 to February 4, 2020, a delegation from the Board of Trustees of Museum Beelden aan Zee (BAZ) and the management of this museum visited Curaçao. From February 4 to 6, part of the group visited Aruba. The board advises and supports the management in the broadest sense of the word. The purpose of the visit was for some of them to experience (again) the art and culture of both countries and for others to gain knowledge and to learn more about it. Going beyond the coverage of their trip on Curaçao, I also want to give an impression of the current art scene, but first something about BAZ.
